Meet Ashley – Photographer & Creative Heart Behind Little Fox
Hey, I’m Ashley! I’m the owner and heart behind Little Fox Photography, and I’ve been photographing Houston-area families, seniors, couples, babies, and all the chaos in between since 2016.
I love beautiful portraits, obviously. But I’m much more interested in creating photographs that actually feel like you than making everyone stand perfectly still and smile at the camera for an hour.
And because I’m a mom, I already know what you may be thinking before your session even starts.
What if my kids don’t cooperate? What do I do with my hands? My husband hates pictures. I have no idea how to pose. Can you Photoshop that?
😂 Probably. But more importantly, you don’t need to know what you’re doing. That’s my job.
I’ll guide you through the session, help with posing, fix the little things you’re worrying about, and keep things moving without making the whole experience feel stiff or awkward. You get to show up, be with your people, and let me worry about making it all look good.
My style is colorful, creative, and full of personality because I believe your portraits should look like your life, not everyone else’s Pinterest board.
Some sessions are sweet. Some are emotional. Some involve me making ridiculous noises to get a toddler to look at me for 2.7 seconds. All of the above counts.
At the end of it, I want you to walk away with photographs that make you think, “Yep. That’s us.”
Why I Do What I Do
My kids are the reason behind so much of what I do. They’re not just part of my life, they’re the heartbeat of it.
They’re why I started this business. Why I stay up late editing and wake up early dreaming. Why I push for growth, keep showing up on the hard days, and probably drink more caffeine than necessary.
They’re the laughter in my home, the chaos I wouldn’t trade for anything, and the reason I learned just how crazy fast life moves.
Because you think you’re going to remember everything.
The way they smiled. The little hand that still fit inside yours. The missing teeth.
The way they looked at you. The personality they had at this exact age.
And then somehow another year passes and you’re wondering when they got that big.
That’s when I realized how powerful a photograph can be. It isn’t just something pretty to hang on the wall. It can feel like home.
It holds onto a version of the people we love that we don’t get to keep forever.
It’s also why I believe you deserve to be in the pictures, too. Not always the one taking them. Not waiting until you lose the weight, have more time, or life feels a little less chaotic. Your kids aren’t going to look back and care whether everything was perfect. They’re going to be glad you were there.
So yes, I want to create beautiful photographs for you. But more than that, I want to create something that means even more to you 20 years from now than it does today.
I create because I know what it means to want to freeze time, even if it’s only for a second.
Because life moves ridiculously fast. The pictures get to stay.
A Few Fun Facts About Me
Motherhood is not for the weak.
I have four kids between the ages of 10 and 19, so there is never a shortage of opinions in my house. Someone needs a ride, someone is hungry, someone needs money, someone has taken my charger, and somehow nobody did it. 😂
It’s loud, it’s chaotic, my groceries disappear at an impressive rate, and somehow I’m expected to know where everyone’s stuff is at all times. Motherhood keeps me humble.
My faith is the foundation of my life.
I love God, and I’m still growing in my walk with Him every day. My faith isn’t something I have because life has always been easy. It’s what has carried me through the seasons that weren’t. God is the reason I keep going, the reason I have hope, and the reason I’ve made it through things I never thought I could.
I will absolutely choose the vacation.
Theme parks, cruises, new places, ridiculous amounts of walking... sign me up. I love making memories with my family, and I’m usually thinking about the next trip before the suitcases from the last one are completely unpacked.
My mom is my BFF. Period.
She’s my ride or die, my sounding board, and the person who shows up whenever we need her, no questions asked. She’s also my official Disney World and vacation partner, and usually the one convincing me that yes, we absolutely need another trip this year.
A few vacations a year with my mom has pretty much become part of the program, and some of my favorite memories have been made with her right beside me. I’m incredibly grateful that I get to call my best friend Mom.
I’m officially in my fiancée era.
Our first cruise together was supposed to be a birthday trip for Geicobi.
Instead, it turned into one of those trips where you keep thinking, what else could possibly happen?
Geicobi proposed on the Carnival Breeze, right in the middle of the three-story atrium, on the red carpet before the Flick show, with people watching from all three levels. So yes, the man understood the assignment.
And because apparently that wasn’t enough for one cruise, Slim Thug and Lil Keke were on board for an event at the same time. We ran into both of them and even ended up riding the elevator with Slim Thug. The H-Town energy on that ship was INSANE.
We left for Geicobi’s birthday and came home engaged with one heck of a story.
Now our wedding date is officially set for October 24, 2027, and I’m genuinely excited for the planning, the wedding, and this next chapter together. Most of all, I’m grateful for what God has been doing in our lives and the way He continues to move for us.
I’m a big fan of keeping things simple.
Not everything needs seventeen steps and a color-coded spreadsheet.
Sometimes the simple idea is the best idea, and I am perfectly happy not making life harder than it needs to be.

or how to get everyone to cooperate. That’s what I’m here for.
I’ll guide you when you need it, fix the little things you probably didn’t even notice, and keep things moving without making your session feel stiff or overly posed. We’ll get the beautiful portraits Grandma wants, but we’ll also leave room for personality, laughter, and the moments that happen when everyone stops worrying about the camera.
And if the kids need a minute, somebody feels awkward, or things don’t go exactly according to plan?
Welcome to photographing actual humans. We adjust and keep going.
My job is to make the process easier, help you feel comfortable, and create photographs that look polished while still feeling like you.
